Machine taps with coloured ring
Our machine taps for industry with coloured ring perfect the tapping process with tool geometries and surface treatments that are optimally matched to the material. This combination ensures perfect threads and high process reliability. The increased tool life reduces downtimes and significantly improves production efficiency.
Round dies, hexagon die nuts and square dies

In mechanical engineering and the automotive sector, damaged threads such as spark plugs, bolts, oil drain screw threads, oxygen sensor or exhaust mounts lead to costly and time-consuming replacement of parts.
For parts with damaged or defective threads there is a second chance:

Precision thread gauges
Dimensional accuracy check quick and easy
No matter which production method has been used, checking the dimensional accuracy of the finished thread is a very important criteria for the outcome quality. The surface of a produced thread can be visually inspected quite easy. However, checking the designated tolerance range of the produced thread usually requires very specific measuring equipment or, to keep things simple, VÖLKEL Precision Thread Gauges.

VÖLKEL Precison Thread Gauges are produced according to the norm of the correlating thread type, in accordance to their designated tolerance grade. For production monitoring and for the gauge calibration modern tactile thread scanners are used. This ensures a constantly high level of quality of all VÖLKEL Precision Thread Gauges.
